Nowadays, almost all the camera/camcorder producers, like Canon, Panasonic, Sony, JVC, Nikon, etc., are attaching more importance to provide their users with Full HD 1920 x 1080 60p enjoyment. They will get increasingly clearer and more vivid memories of their happy journeys and adventures. With the new generation of cameras and camcorders coming up, you can now not only share your great moments with your friends on HD TV, PC and Tablet, you can also project them on a 100" diagonal screen without any cables or connections.Everything seems great but you will still meet a problem when you want to ingest your AVCHD 1080p MTS/M2TS files in Adobe Premiere Elements 4.0 for editing since you will find that your editing software can not recognize and support the AVCHD format.

If you are intended to import AVCHD 1080p MTS/M2TS files to Adobe Premiere Elements 4.0, you have to transcode AVCHD 1080p MTS/M2TS files to MPEG-2, which is compatiblem with Adobe Premiere Elements 4.0.
